QA Lead - AI & Automation Focus
Fingermark is seeking a hands-on QA Lead based in Brazil to drive quality engineering across our two core products. In this role, you will lead a distributed team of QA engineers across Brazil and New Zealand, elevate team capabilities through AI-assisted test automation, and stay actively involved in test execution.

- Define and execute end-to-end testing strategies across Fingermark’s two main product lines, ensuring unified quality standards.
- Introduce and embed AI-assisted testing tools to upskill the team and accelerate testing cycles.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers split across Brazil and New Zealand, managing cross-time-zone collaboration and engineering practices.
- Actively write, maintain, and execute automated and manual test suites alongside your team for critical feature releases.
- Integrate automated test suites directly into release pipelines to support fast, reliable deployment loops.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and DevOps across both regions to identify technical risks early.
- 5+ years in QA engineering, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role managing distributed team members.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken) for daily collaboration across LATAM and APAC teams.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining automation frameworks using modern tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, or Selenium).
- Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI test-case generators) to increase testing efficiency and train team members.
- Strong understanding of API testing, UI automation, and CI/CD integrations (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Preference for candidates based in Brazil.
- Prior experience coordinating workflows across LATAM and APAC time zones.
- Background in performance, load, or hardware-integrated software testing.
