We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Eyecue engineering team within the Fingermark technology organisation.
You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to build innovative technology solutions, facilitating requirement analysis, problem-solving, and providing technical feedback and mentorship.
You will also assist with on-call L3 support with additional compensation provided.
Candidates should demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and high proficiency in web technologies.

- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to build quality product software
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks across the product development life cycle
- Provide mentorship to other engineers
- Assist with L3 support activities and on-call responsibilities
- Fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- React specialist comfortable with TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and modern styling via Tailwind and MaterialUI
- Backend engineering expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and designing scalable RESTful microservices
- Cloud experience in AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB) and Infrastructure as Code (CDK or Serverless)
- Full-cycle ownership of code, from initial deployment to testing, monitoring, and debugging in production
- Familiarity with using tools like Auth0, LaunchDarkly, Sentry, or Jitsu
- Proficiency in web technologies and services
- Experience with software development, product releases, and engineering tasks
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to evaluate and improve work processes and best practices
- Experience with D3/Visx for data visualisation, SpringJS for animation, and Storybook for components
- Comfortable in Unix environments and deploying to varied targets like AWS Cloud, Chromebox, and Android devices at edge
