Bilingual Account Manager (Fleet & Freight)

We are looking for a Bilingual Account Manager to oversee account management, negotiations, and fleet performance, ensuring maximum revenue per truck and high driver satisfaction.
You will be a key link between the company, Freight Brokers, and drivers, using data and strategies to optimize operations and results.

  • Plan and execute strategies to maximize revenue per truck, considering different driver profiles.
  • Negotiate rates with Freight Brokers, always seeking the most profitable and competitive options per mile and per load.
  • Monitor driver activities to ensure optimal use of service hours.
  • Balance drivers’ home time requests with operational and billing needs.
  • Maintain daily communication with drivers to optimize productivity and reduce turnover.
  • Track all loads from dispatch to delivery, resolving any issues during the process.
  • Perform administrative tasks: documentation, progress monitoring, and attaching required paperwork for billing.
  • Update load information in the Billor platform from pickup to delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Freight Brokers.
  • Monitor fleet and revenue performance indicators.
  • Plan revenue goals and weekly strategies with each customer/driver.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Availability to work on-site/hybrid in Joinville, SC.
  • Strong negotiation skills and results-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for customer service and problem-solving.
  • Resilience and ability to deal with different personality types.
  • Previous experience as an Account Manager or similar role.
  • Proactivity and ability to work with aggressive targets.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage.
  • Knowledge of fleet management and KPI analysis.
  • Fixed contract + commission/variables.
