A platform engineer for a computer vision intelligence platform focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the deployment and operation of computer vision and machine learning models at scale.
We are searching for experienced platform engineers who feel comfortable working on hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise) and have an automation mindset to join our dynamic Platform team at Fingermark and help shape the future of our cutting-edge Eyecue product.

- Infrastructure Development: Designing and building robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure on both cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments. This includes managing servers, networking, and storage solutions.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Implementing and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate the software delivery process, ensuring rapid and reliable deployments of computer vision models.
- Cloud Management: Managing and optimizing cloud resources, specifically AWS services such as IAM, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, Cloudwatch, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and VPC.
- Automation: Automating infrastructure management and software development processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Working with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Swarm to manage and scale containerized applications.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implementing and managing monitoring and logging systems using tools like Icinga2, Grafana, Prometheus/Thanos, and Graylog/Logstash to ensure system health and performance.
- Network Management: Handling network protocols and technologies including TLS, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, VPN, and Firewalls.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with development teams, coaching engineers on best practices, and providing support for infrastructure-related issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Understanding stakeholder needs and using data to inform team focus and decisions
- At least 5 years working with infrastructure (SysAdmin, SRE, SysOps)
- Being comfortable with Linux and Windows systems
- Strong knowledge of control version tools like Git
- Knowledge in Infrastructure-as-a-Code. We use Terraform
- Strong knowledge of cloud providers, preferable AWS (IAM, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, Cloudwatch, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, VPC)
- Experience in network protocols and technologies (TLS, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, VPN, Firewalls, Unifi)
- Experience with Docker and containers orchestration (Kubernetes/Swarm)
- Good experience in automation tools like Ansible/Chef
- Experience in at least one programing language like Python, Go, Javascript
- Experience with open source monitoring tools like (Icinga2, Grafana, Prometheus/Thanos, Graylog/Logstash)
