  • Ensuring teams adhere to healthy engineering culture, fostering safe and productive environments in order to engage and retain engineering staff
  • Hiring engineers, maintaining a resource plan and ensuring the hiring pipeline is sufficient to meet recruitment needs
  • Helping teach, mentor, and coach the team and working with individual contributors to develop their individual career paths - particularly the tech leads for each area
  • Ensuring the team follows suitable process by guiding and coaching with a healthy amount of autonomy
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and bottlenecks
  • Improving our overall software development process by working with the engineering team to automate or reduce their bottlenecks
  • Ensuring the teams engineering culture fosters best practices, ensuring the team can move forward well by building production quality software
  • Working with the team to define engineering and goals aligned with the organization
  • Collaborating with other functional areas of the business to ensure engineering is a trusted partner
  • Advanced/fluent English skills
  • Software development lifecycle experience
  • Deep knowledge of software architecture
  • Computer Vision experience
  • Python
  • Nodejs
  • AWS
  • Edge compute
  • Experience in developing scalable, robust software and its processes
  • Proven ability to create strategic plans, establish clear objectives, and define measurable KPIs to track performance and ensure the alignment of engineering efforts with business goals
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and communicative profile
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Experience managing remote teams and getting the most out of them
  • Experience or knowledge in Data, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision products
  • PJ contract, Full remote;
